Julene has been Dr. Kaplove’s invaluable right hand assistant and dedicated office manager since 2007, while also serving as a skilled chiropractic assistant since 2004. She takes on the crucial responsibilities of addressing intricate insurance and billing issues, as well as overseeing the full spectrum of essential office activities that keep the practice running smoothly and efficiently. In her multifaceted role, Julene expertly administers a diverse variety of patient therapies, including ultrasound, electric stimulation, cold laser therapy, and several additional advanced treatments designed to enhance patient well-being. Additionally, Julene conducts a voluntary yearly office audit to ensure the office remains fully compliant with industry regulations and standards. Julene loves handling all the graphic design for Back in Balance, including ads, mailings, and the website. With her extensive experience in the field, Julene brings a unique blend of professional acumen and genuine, caring expertise to each interaction with patients, practitioners, and fellow staff members, thereby ensuring a consistently warm and supportive environment for everyone involved.

Julene is not only fluent in American Sign Language, but she also proudly serves as our dedicated Notary Public. Immediately after graduating from high school, she pursued her passion for beauty and became a licensed beauty specialist while simultaneously earning certification in Child Care Development and becoming CPR Certified. As a devoted mother of two, she balances her professional endeavors with her parental responsibilities.

Over the years, Julene has actively engaged in a range of courses offered by the Florida Chiropractic Association, in addition to participating in training sessions across the country focusing on NET (Neuro Emotional Technique). She is certified by the Chiropractic Licensing Board as a National Certified Clinical Chiropractic Assistant, a distinction that underscores her expertise and commitment to excellence in the field of chiropractic care.
